The Marist Women’s hockey team has once again showcased their formidable skills by successfully defending their title at the Eastgate Memorial Hockey Tournament held in Suva. They emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win over the competing team, Stingers. However, Marist managed to secure the victory with a decisive goal in the second half, thus retaining their championship.
Team captain Mona Biukoto reflected on the pressures that came with entering the tournament as reigning champions.
