Mariah May’s WWE Bound? Speculation Intensifies!

Mariah May is reportedly on the cusp of making a significant transition to WWE after two years with AEW. The speculation surrounding her move intensified following her recent removal from AEW’s roster, and insiders suggest that preparations for her debut in the Stamford-based promotion are already underway.

Sean Ross Sapp, in a recent Fightful Select Backstage Report podcast, noted that while May was still under contract with AEW at the time of her roster removal, changes may have occurred as June rolled in. He attempted to reach out to May for comments but did not receive a response; however, expectations are high that she will soon join WWE.

There’s some ambiguity regarding whether May has officially notified either WWE or AEW about her potential move. Reports indicate that she has not signed any contract yet but is actively seeking representation, suggesting her shift to WWE could be imminent. Sapp highlighted, “She had decided she wanted to go to WWE… but I haven’t heard of any contract being officially signed yet.”

Mariah May’s last appearance in AEW was back in March at AEW Revolution 2025, where she confronted Toni Storm in a match for the Women’s World Championship. Despite the loss, the bout received acclaim for its execution and storytelling, showcasing May’s talents in the ring.

As the wrestling community watches these developments closely, there’s a sense of excitement about what May’s potential arrival at WWE might bring. Her journey reflects the dynamic nature of the wrestling industry, where talent often shifts between promotions, and fans are eagerly anticipating her next steps in her career.
