Marchbanks Blazes Through Washougal MX: What’s Next for the 250 Class?

Garrett Marchbanks showcased his remarkable speed at the Washougal MX Park in Washington, dominating the Qualification 2 session with a blistering lap time of 2:14.412, which was over a second quicker than his performance in Qualification 1. Dilan Schwartz followed closely behind with a time of 2:15.079, securing the second position in Qualification 2, while Seth Hammaker rounded out the top three with a lap of 2:15.125.

Ryder DiFrancesco finished fourth with a time of 2:15.872, but Jo Shimoda’s stronger showing in Qualification 1 with a time of 2:15.715 made him the faster rider overall, despite only achieving the 10th best time of 2:17.228 in the second session. DiFrancesco’s performance placed him fifth overall.

Meanwhile, Haiden Deegan experienced a drop from his previous third-place standing in Qualification 1 to fifth in the second session, finishing with a time of 2:16.094. The rough track conditions appeared to have affected his performance, emphasizing the challenging nature of the event.

In Qualification 1, Marchbanks led the 250 class with a time of 2:15.421, followed closely by Jo Shimoda, who improved towards the end to clock in at 2:15.715. Haiden Deegan and Ryder DiFrancesco also displayed their competitiveness, setting the stage for an exciting race.
