The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is eager to forge strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders to enhance the maritime industry’s growth. Mr. Tunde Ayodele, the Chairman of the caretaker committee, highlighted this initiative in his New Year message, emphasizing the critical role of collaboration in propelling economic growth in the country.
Ayodele encouraged all stakeholders to recommit to delivering robust services that contribute to the nation’s prosperity. He described 2026 as a “year of greater impact,” expressing optimism about the future and the potential for collective achievement.
Acknowledging the support MARAN received from stakeholders in 2025, Ayodele urged them to maintain this momentum. He emphasized that continued cooperation and encouragement are essential for the association to fulfill its journalistic duties with responsibility and purpose.
“United, we can make Nigeria proud by contributing our quota to national development, each from our own little corner,” Ayodele stated, reinforcing the significance of collaboration.
In closing, he extended his warm wishes for a happy new year to members and stakeholders, welcoming them into what he envisions as a transformative year for both the maritime sector and the nation as a whole. Through joint efforts and a shared vision, there is hope for substantial progress in the industry, enhancing its contributions to Nigeria’s economy.
