Craig Berube, the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, has been drawing attention lately due to a noticeable cut across the top of his head. The gash has sparked curiosity among hockey fans regarding its origin.

Last week, Berube addressed the situation during a press conference, providing an explanation for his injuries. He disclosed that the wound resulted from an accident in the gym. “I had an accident in the gym yesterday,” Berube stated. “The other guy looks way worse, there were three of them. It was a tough situation. It was just a bad accident; it’s all my fault. I’m fine.”

Despite his injury, Berube has continued to lead the Maple Leafs from behind the bench without missing any games. Unfortunately for the team, they faced challenges during his coaching, suffering defeats in both games since the injury: a 6-3 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights and a 4-1 defeat to the Colorado Avalanche.

The Maple Leafs are set to return to the ice on Tuesday night, where they will host the Buffalo Sabres. Fans will be eager to see if the team can bounce back and secure a victory, and they will undoubtedly keep an eye on Berube as he continues to coach with his distinctive new look.
