Luke Combs Lights Up Green Bay with Two-Night Show as Ticket Prices Dance on the Secondary Market

Country music sensation Luke Combs is set to light up Green Bay with his highly anticipated “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour,” scheduled for May 15 and 16. The excitement surrounding the concerts is palpable, with fans already expressing their enthusiasm for the events.

Steven Childers, a ticket holder, shared his thoughts on the buzz surrounding the concert. “You kind of knew it was coming. When it was announced, you knew it was going to sell out quick,” he said, highlighting the expected influx of fans traveling to the area. Fellow fan Kyle Monroe echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the strong demand for tickets and the community’s eagerness to participate.

However, this surge in popularity has led to price fluctuations in the secondary ticket market, as noted by Travis Loftus, manager at Ticket King. “The news dropped this morning that he was coming, which is almost the kiss of death in the secondary market, just because there are so many seats for a two-day show,” Loftus explained, indicating how initial high demand often leads to a decrease in prices over time as the concert dates approach.

Many fans took advantage of presale opportunities, including members of Combs’ fan club, the Bootleggers. Monroe, who joined the fan club specifically for the presale, reflected on his experience: “I did join that… Something that I took advantage of and obviously paid off.” Both he and Childers managed to secure tickets through Ticketmaster, with a total cost of approximately $220, fees included.

In comparing ticket prices, FOX 11 found that options vary across different resale platforms, with the lowest prices for two tickets starting around $147 on Seat Geek and rising for more desirable seat locations. As Loftus pointed out, ticket prices tend to fluctuate with demand, often peaking upon initial sale and then lowering as the event date nears.

Childers reminisced about his past concert experiences at Lambeau Field, likening the electrifying atmosphere to that of a Green Bay Packers game, but elevated by live music. “It’s amazing. Just 10 times the excitement than a Packer game, when it comes to the live music here,” he said.

While attending Combs’ concert will require careful planning and budgeting, fans remain optimistic that with some diligence, they can secure tickets at a reasonable price. The general public sale opens this Friday at 10 a.m., and anticipation continues to build as fans ready themselves for an unforgettable musical experience.
