Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, one of the most popular couples from “Love Island UK,” have announced their breakup after five years together. Hague made the announcement on her Instagram story on August 14, revealing that the relationship had come to an end. The couple, who first met during Season 5 of the show in 2019, share a one-year-old daughter, Bambi, and got engaged in July 2023.
In her statement, the 25-year-old Hague expressed her disbelief at the situation, stating, “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.” She emphasized her gratitude for their daughter, noting that Bambi would always be her priority.
Hague also thanked their fans for their support over the years, indicating that their journey had been shared with the public. At the end of her message, she requested privacy during this challenging time.
Tommy Fury, also 25, confirmed the breakup on his own Instagram story, stating, “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.” He expressed his gratitude for Hague, saying, “The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.” He too asked for privacy.
Since their time on “Love Island,” the couple has kept fans updated on significant milestones, including the birth of their daughter and their engagement. In one of their memorable moments, they shared a video in September 2022, capturing Hague reading a love letter to Fury, which also featured footage of Fury with her baby bump.
