Love Island: All Stars season three is facing a delay due to the evacuation of its production team amid ongoing wildfires in South Africa, the show’s filming location. The official announcement was made on Love Island’s Instagram account, which noted that the premiere date, initially set for Wednesday, January 14, has been postponed. This decision comes just a day after the premiere was confirmed.

In the Instagram post, the producers emphasized that the safety and health of everyone involved is their top priority. They stated, “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed. Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.”

This season of All Stars, a U.K. spinoff of the beloved reality dating series, will once again be hosted by Maya Jama. The show will run over six weeks, an extension from the usual five-week format.

The returning cast features a mix of popular former contestants, including Whitney Adebayo (Season 10), Millie Court (Season 7), Belle Hassan (Season 5), Helena Ford (Season 12), Jess Harding (Season 10), Leanne Amaning (Season 6), Ciaran Davies (Season 11), Jack Keating (Season 8), Sean Stone (Season 11), Tommy Bradley (Season 12), Charlie Frederick (Season 4), and Shaq Muhammad (Season 9).

The previous season of Love Island USA saw record viewership, becoming the most-watched streaming original series in the United States during its run last summer, setting a high bar for the upcoming season. Fans of the series are hopeful that the delay will ultimately lead to an even more thrilling and captivating season when it finally airs.
