Lollapalooza is back in Chicago’s Grant Park for an exciting four-day festival from Thursday to Sunday, featuring an impressive lineup of artists spanning various genres. Running from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., attendees can enjoy performances across eight stages.

This year’s lineup includes popular artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, and Olivia Rodrigo, marking her debut at the festival. Other notable performers are Tyler, The Creator, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Luke Combs—who will be the festival’s first country closer—TWICE as the first female K-pop group to headline, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Gracie Abrams, Dom Dolla, and Djo.

Although one-day, two-day, and four-day tickets are sold out, verified resale options are available through Ticketmaster, allowing fans to still experience the performances live.

To enter the festival, visitors can use designated entrances located at Michigan Avenue with Ida B. Wells Drive and Monroe Street with Columbus Drive. It’s essential for attendees to arrive prepared for security checks, including bag searches and screening procedures, and to wear festival wristbands for entry.

Attendees should also be mindful of what they can bring. The festival permits clear bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, along with smaller non-clear fanny packs and clutch purses. Importantly, no outside liquids are allowed, but free water stations will be available throughout the venue.

For those who live nearby and opt not to attend the festival, it’s essential to be aware of various street and park closures starting as early as July 16 and running through August 10. Several roads surrounding Grant Park will be impacted, with detailed closures initially set to ease after the festival concludes.

In addition to road restrictions, Grant Park’s amenities will also temporarily close, including tennis and pickleball courts until August 5, and the Grant Bark Park, which will reopen August 9, with an alternative temporary dog park available during the festival days.

With strong community support and an array of exciting musical acts, this year’s Lollapalooza promises to be a memorable celebration for attendees.

This festival not only showcases diverse musical talent but fosters a sense of community and creativity in the vibrant city of Chicago.
