The funeral for Jota and Silva was held in their hometown of Gondomar last Saturday, attended by a significant delegation from Liverpool, including Slot. Additionally, floral tributes were laid at Anfield, where Jota’s wife, Rute Cardoso, along with family members and the squad, gathered to pay their respects.
