Lindsay Lohan is set to thrill her fans as she reprises her role as Anna Coleman in the upcoming sequel “Freakier Friday.” In an exclusive interview with Parade, the 38-year-old actress expressed her enthusiasm for a new song that will feature in the film. “I have a really beautiful song coming out in Freakier Friday, which is exciting,” she revealed while discussing her collaboration with Pure Leaf on the “Time for a Tea Break” campaign.

The film promises to offer a fun twist as the Coleman family—including Lohan’s character, her mother Tess Coleman played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and Anna’s daughter—experience a body swap. Fans can also look forward to the return of the fictional band Pink Slip, consisting of Anna and her friends, as they prepare to perform together when the film premieres on August 8.

Lohan has a history with music, having released two albums in the early 2000s, but she noted that her experience was somewhat rushed. “I feel like when I did music, I wasn’t at a point in my life where I could do the music and then tour with it,” she said, leaving the door open for a possible future in music again with a hopeful “Never say never.”

Currently, Lohan is focusing on her well-being and family life, highlighting the importance of taking short breaks amidst a busy life. Her partnership with Pure Leaf emphasizes the significance of these revitalizing moments, which she deeply values, especially as a multitasking mom. “It’s important to take a minute for yourself and recharge,” she stated.

This exciting new chapter for Lohan blends her passion for music and family, reflecting a positive outlook as she navigates her personal and professional life.
