Lindsay Lohan is enjoying a peaceful and “normal” life in Dubai, largely due to the city’s strict privacy laws which contrast sharply with her high-profile days in Hollywood. In her recent appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Lohan expressed how relieved she feels living in a place where she can experience freedom away from the incessant attention of paparazzi.

Life in Dubai has allowed Lohan to feel safe as she raises her young son, Luai, without the fear of being photographed during everyday activities. “There’s no worry of, like, I can’t go eat at this place ’cause someone’s gonna take a picture of my son,” she said. Lohan elaborated that it is illegal to take someone’s picture without consent, highlighting the key difference in privacy standards compared to her experiences in Hollywood. The host Kelly Ripa was visibly surprised by this revelation, underscoring how the cultural differences greatly impact celebrities’ lived experiences.

Lohan, who has made Dubai her home since 2014, married financier Bader Shammas in 2022, and they welcomed their son earlier this year. Reflecting on her time in the spotlight, Lohan remarked how media often focuses on her mistakes rather than her achievements, stating, “I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it’s that one thing that will be focused on.”

In addition to her personal revelations, Lohan is actively promoting her upcoming film “Freakier Friday,” a sequel to the beloved 2003 film. She reunited with Jamie Lee Curtis for the project, which is set to release on August 8. Lohan reminisced about impactful advice Curtis gave her over two decades ago regarding the energy one brings to set, highlighting the meaningful relationship they share.

This new stage in Lohan’s life seems to reflect a healthier balance between personal safety and her professional ambitions, offering a positive outlook as she embraces motherhood and a new film venture.
