LeAnn Rimes recently discussed a significant health treatment after experiencing a distressing incident during a concert where her false teeth fell out mid-performance. In an Instagram video shared on January 15, the 43-year-old country singer expressed her commitment to healing while undergoing a “plasma exchange” in Nashville due to a health scare.

“I’m listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing,” Rimes shared, emphasizing the importance of self-care after a demanding year of filming and touring. This marks her second session of the treatment, which aims to eliminate micro-toxins like mold and microplastics. Rimes has also incorporated stem cells into her treatment to promote overall recovery.

She acknowledged the high cost of the Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, which is reported to be around $10,000, and pointed out the inequality in access to such treatments. Rimes chose to share her experience with sensitivity, hoping to provide information about what has worked for her rather than prescribing a solution to others.

The Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, or TPE, involves filtering a patient’s blood through an apheresis machine to remove the plasma, which is then replaced with red blood cells and fluids. This innovative treatment aligns with Rimes’ ongoing passion for health and wellness, as she seeks to spark curiosity and engage in open discussions about healing.

This recent revelation comes after her dental emergency during a concert in June, when she felt a sudden “pop” in her mouth while performing her hit song “One Way Ticket (Because I Can).” Rimes described the panic she felt when her dental bridge dislodged, causing a moment of chaos on stage.

Rimes’ candidness about her health journey reflects her ongoing dedication to self-care and encourages a broader conversation about wellness and healing practices.
