League of Legends has launched Patch 25.22, introducing a host of updates that players are eager to explore. This patch focuses on modifying Rune balance, enhancing champion identities, and featuring new skins that aim to enrich the gaming experience.
The nerf segment of this update has impacted three champions and two Runes. Specifically, the nerfed champions include Akshan, LeBlanc, and Talon, all of whom have seen their rankings adjusted from Emerald 2 to Challenger. The affected Runes are Phase Rush and Biscuit Delivery, indicating a shift aimed at refining gameplay dynamics.
On the brighter side, Patch 25.22 brings a total of 11 buffs, positively affecting three champions and eight Runes. Champions Aurelion Sol, Blitzcrank, and Yone have received enhancements, while Runes like Cashback, Guardian, and Hail of Blades have also been buffed, alongside key adjustments for movement speed advantages.
Adjustments are significant under this patch, as they alter the overall identity of champions without categorizing them strictly as buffs or nerfs. Skarner and Volibear are set to undergo these noteworthy changes to improve how players can utilize their abilities.
The patch also debuts four new skins, including the highly anticipated Panda Pal Lux, which contributes to this year’s Social Impact Fund. Notably, 100% of the proceeds from this skin, along with additional contributions, will support the donor advised fund account sponsored by ImpactAssets.
In addition to these primary changes, Patch 25.22 features 17 ARAM Mayhem changes, four quality-of-life updates for ARAM, numerous bug fixes, and 25 adjustments focused on the Arena, five of which are Champions specific.
