Four individuals, including Artika Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Ravinal Ravinesh Anand, and Sanjay Kumar, appeared before the Lautoka Magistrates Court in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a 20-year-old woman in Saweni last month. This significant case has now been transferred to the High Court in Lautoka for further proceedings.
The court has ordered that all four accused remain in custody, with their next appearance scheduled for March 9. Meanwhile, her three co-defendants, all residents of Saweni, are charged with kidnapping, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal intimidation.
