Led by Bob Crane as Colonel Hogan, the series earned multiple Emmy nominations, winning twice, and was recognized for its positive representation of Black actors in media.

In addition to his television successes, Washington appeared in the film adaptation of “Westworld,” showcasing his talent in both film and TV throughout a career that began in the mid-1950s.
