Lana Del Rey has reportedly embraced a new chapter in her life with Jeremy Dufrene, as the couple tied the knot in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, on Thursday. The marriage was confirmed by the Daily Mail, which featured photos of the ceremony where Del Rey donned a white dress and was escorted down the aisle by her father, Robert Grant, holding a floral bouquet.
Dufrene, a 39-year-old airboat captain, operates Arthur’s Air Boat Tours, conducting wildlife excursions in the swamps and marshes near New Orleans. The wedding took place at the public bayou associated with his work.
Speculation about the couple’s relationship began in August, as fans discovered that Del Rey had met Dufrene during a 2019 tour she took with friends. In May, she referred to him as “my guy” in an Instagram post.
The couple has been spotted together publicly, including backstage at the Leeds Festival in the UK, where Del Rey performed, and at a wedding in New York. While Del Rey did not publicly announce an engagement, reports confirm that the couple applied for a marriage license in Louisiana on September 23. Del Rey has experienced two prior engagements, first to musician Clayton Johnson in 2020 and later to music manager Evan Winiker.
