Lake City Bank is expanding its presence in downtown Warsaw with the acquisition of another building to enhance its campus. On Tuesday, the bank revealed plans for a new Innovation and Technology Center located at 122 East Center Street, conveniently situated across from its main headquarters.
The newly acquired property encompasses 35,000 square feet spanning three levels. According to Lake City Bank CEO David Findlay, the facility will undergo renovations to accommodate various technology operations, including tech services, information security, and project management teams.
Findlay highlighted the bank’s commitment to its local facilities, stating, “Since 2010, we’ve invested approximately $30 million in our Warsaw facilities and in our Kosciusko County bank offices.” He added that the entire Warsaw area has been fully renovated and modernized, showcasing the bank’s dedication to revitalizing older buildings through significant capital investments in the community.
The specifics of the financial investment for this particular building were not disclosed. Currently, Lake City Bank employs nearly 300 individuals across its soon-to-be six buildings in downtown Warsaw.
The newly acquired building, originally constructed in 1968 for the United Telephone Company of Indiana, has been leased by Lake City Bank since 2012. The most recent owner of the property was Brightspeed internet.
