Lainey Wilson’s 13-Hour Farm Stay Sparks New Collaboration With Miranda Lambert

In a recent episode of the Biscuits & Jam podcast hosted by Sid Evans, Lainey Wilson opened up about a memorable experience with Miranda Lambert that occurred during a particularly hectic time in her career. Wilson recounted how Lambert graciously invited her to rest at her Nashville farm, a gesture that turned into an unexpected 13-hour sleep session. This lengthy slumber raised concerns for Lambert and her husband, who even knocked on Wilson’s door to check on her well-being.

This invitation came during a period of collaboration between the two country music stars, as they worked on the song “Good Horses,” featured in Wilson’s upcoming 2024 album, Whirlwind. The pair are set to collaborate again on the track “Trailblazer,” which will also feature Reba McEntire and is scheduled for release in 2025.

During the interview, Wilson expressed the deep connection she feels with Lambert, particularly their mutual affection for the Western lifestyle. She emphasized the importance of returning to their roots and recharging their spirits, stating, “Also our love for coming home and planting our feet and filling our cups back up so we can go back out and pour ’em out.” This strong bond not only enriches their personal lives but also enhances their artistic collaborations, contributing to the vibrant landscape of country music.
