Lainey Wilson has announced the Australia and New Zealand legs of her Whirlwind World Tour, including the country’s long-awaited debut from the Grammy-winning artist. The shows are slated for February 2026, with New Zealand dates kicking off in Auckland and Christchurch before Wilson heads to Australia for headline performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. She will also headline the Howlin’ Country Festival in Newcastle.
The Australasian run follows a global swing that began with a European leg this year, followed by a North American stretch that Wilson will take on later this month. Joining Wilson on the Australia and New Zealand dates are fellow country artists Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts.
Fans can look forward a two-for-one release for the Whirlwind album era: the deluxe edition of Whirlwind is set to drop on August 22 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the original album. Whirlwind Deluxe expands the 14-track collection with five brand-new songs.
Tickets for the Australia and New Zealand dates go on sale at 1 pm local time on August 15, with more information available at frontiertouring.com/laineywilson.
As Wilson continues to expand her global footprint, this tour reinforces her status as a leading voice in modern country, delivering high-energy performances and a blend of traditional and contemporary sounds that resonate with audiences around the world. Fans can expect a memorable set across New Zealand and Australia, capped by the new material featured on the deluxe edition.
