The Labasa football team is gearing up to defend their Inter-District Championship title at the 4R Stadium Govind Park in Ba next week. Having recently achieved victories in both the Fiji FACT and Battle of the Giants tournaments, the Babasiga Lions have set their sights on capping off a triumphant season with a clean sweep.

With a wave of high spirits and confidence, the Labasa team is encouraging their supporters in the western division to attend the matches in full force as they launch their campaign on Tuesday. They are placed in Group A and will face off against Lautoka, Suva, and Nadi. Their tournament begins with a clash against Nadi on Tuesday at 3:30 PM, followed by a match against Lautoka FC on Wednesday at 6 PM, and they will wrap up their group-stage games with a confrontation against Suva on Thursday at 2 PM.
