Disney has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming comedy special “Kumail Nanjiani: Night Thoughts,” set to premiere later this month on Disney+ and Hulu. After a near decade-long hiatus, Nanjiani returns to Chicago, the city where he began his standup career, to delve into topics such as anxiety, the challenges of buying drugs before legalization, and the often-overlooked issue of cat medication.

The special is not only performed and written by Nanjiani, but he also takes on the role of executive producer alongside a talented team that includes Molly Mandel, Emily V. Gordon, Elan Gale, Bernie Schaeffer, and Bill Dixon. The direction of the special is handled by Bill Benz.

This release is part of the Hularious comedy series, which has previously featured performances from renowned comedians such as Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood, Jr., Chris Distefano, and Bill Burr, among others. “Kumail Nanjiani: Night Thoughts” is set to make its debut on Friday, December 19, 2025, for Hulu and Disney+ bundle subscribers in the U.S., as well as internationally on Disney+.

With Nanjiani’s unique blend of humor and relatable storytelling, audiences can anticipate a delightful and thought-provoking viewing experience. The anticipation surrounding this special is a reminder of the joy that stand-up comedy brings to viewers.
