On Wednesday, November 13, Krispy Kreme is set to celebrate World Kindness Day by giving away free doughnuts. The popular bakery chain will provide a complimentary dozen Original Glazed doughnuts to the first 500 customers who arrive at participating U.S. locations, whether in-store or via drive-thru, with no purchase necessary.
Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer, Dave Skena, emphasized the importance of small acts of kindness: “World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat. We hope that each dozen Original Glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.”
In addition to this generous gesture, Krispy Kreme is encouraging fans to share their own acts of kindness on social media using the hashtag #KrispyKreme alongside tagging @KrispyKreme.
Furthermore, Krispy Kreme recently announced its Thanksgiving-themed doughnut collection, featuring four delightful flavors available until Thanksgiving. These include:
1. **Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut**: an Original Glazed doughnut coated in chocolate icing, adorned with chocolate buttercream and chocolate curls.
2. **Lemon Crème Pie Doughnut**: an unglazed shell doughnut filled with lemon pie filling, dipped in yellow icing, topped with graham crunch and a swirl of meringue buttercream.
3. **Blueberry Crisp Doughnut**: an unglazed shell doughnut filled with blueberry filling, covered in blueberry icing and topped with streusel.
4. **Apple Crumble Doughnut**: an unglazed shell doughnut stuffed with apple pie filling, finished with pie crust buttercream and a sprinkle of cinnamon cookie crumbs.
As for Texas, Krispy Kreme has 22 locations throughout the state, allowing many to partake in the joyful celebration of kindness and delicious treats.
This initiative not only spreads kindness through free doughnuts but also encourages community interaction and sharing positive experiences. It serves as a reminder of the warm connections that can be formed through simple acts of generosity.
