Krispy Kreme is hosting two exciting events this week as part of its “Go for the Glaze” Olympics promotion.
On Wednesday, July 31, customers can enjoy $1 doughnuts of any type in stores with no purchase limit, while supplies last. Following this, on Thursday, August 1, members of the Krispy Kreme Rewards loyalty program can purchase $1 Original Glazed doughnuts available in stores and via the Krispy Kreme website and app, also while supplies last.
Additionally, Krispy Kreme announced its new Go USA Doughnuts collection, available as a limited-time offer. The collection includes:
Go USA Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in white icing, adorned with red icing stripes, and sprinkled with blue and gold.
Chocolate Iced Glazed with Sprinkles Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut covered in chocolate icing and topped with patriotic sprinkles.
Original Glazed Doughnut: The classic favorite.
These Go USA Doughnuts can be purchased individually, in a 3-pack, or as a special dozen-box during the Games. They are available in stores, for pickup at participating locations, and for delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website. A 6-pack box will also be delivered fresh daily to select retailers.
In addition, Krispy Kreme’s Passport to Paris collection continues to be available for purchase in stores and through their app or website for pickup or delivery. This collection features three flavors inspired by Parisian desserts:
Créme Brûlée Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with créme brûlée cream filling, dipped in créme brûlée caramel icing and topped with caramelized sugar crunch.
Double Chocolate Éclair Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with chocolate custard cream filling, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with chocolate crisp pearls.
Raspberry & Vanilla Créme Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in raspberry icing with cookie pieces and a dollop of vanilla cream.
The Passport to Paris collection has been available since July 15 and will remain for a limited time. “Most people can’t be in Paris to cheer on their country’s team. So, we’re giving you a ‘Passport to Paris’ in the form of delicious doughnuts with Parisian dessert flavors,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, in a news release.
