Korean Pavilion Shatters Visitor Records at Osaka Expo!

KOTRA has reported that the Korean Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Expo has surpassed 1 million visitors within just two months of its opening on April 13. This pavilion has become a significant platform for showcasing Korean technology and culture, aligned with the expo’s theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

Featuring a slogan of “With Hearts,” the Korean Pavilion integrates advanced technology with artistic expression, captivating the interest of local attendees. The pavilion includes three thematic halls. Hall 1 offers an immersive experience where AI transforms visitor voices into music. Hall 2 highlights eco-friendly initiatives, and Hall 3 presents a futuristic Korean musical experience.

In addition to the main exhibition, KOTRA has planned around 30 related events until May 13, showcasing elements of Korean culture such as taekwondo, K-beauty, and traditional performances, further enriching the visitor experience.

A KOTRA official noted that the innovative use of AI and digital technologies within the pavilion has garnered positive feedback and positioned it as a vibrant communication hub for global audiences.

The Osaka Expo is notable for being the first world expo in the same region in 55 years, featuring participation from 158 countries and international organizations, and running until October 13. This prominent international platform allows for the exchange of ideas and cultures, and the success of the Korean Pavilion underscores the increasing interest in technology and cultural experiences among attendees.

This event not only highlights Korea’s advancements in technology and culture but also reinforces the importance of global collaboration and understanding in shaping a sustainable future.
