Kim Kardashian is making a significant leap into the acting world with her role in the new legal drama “All’s Fair,” where she plays a hotshot divorce lawyer named Allura Grant. The series, set to premiere on Disney+ on November 4, is co-created by notable writer-director Ryan Murphy, known for his work on “American Horror Story.”

Kardashian, 44, draws on her own experiences with divorce, having been married three times, including her most recent split from rapper Kanye West in 2022. During a press conference in Los Angeles, she expressed her familiarity with family law and divorce, saying, “I feel very well-versed in family law and divorce law – and I was happy to bring my knowledge to the character.”

The show also features a star-studded cast, including Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Teyana Taylor. It revolves around a team of female divorce attorneys who decide to break away from a male-dominated Hollywood firm to start their own practice. Kardashian’s involvement as a co-producer, alongside her mother Kris Jenner, adds a personal touch to the production.

The series draws inspiration from celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented Kardashian during two of her divorces. Kardashian’s connection to family law runs deep; her father, the late Robert Kardashian, was a legendary attorney, famously known for his defense of O.J. Simpson in the 1995 murder trial. Although Kim initially had ambitions of studying law and faced challenges in passing the “baby bar” exam, she remains dedicated to her legal aspirations.

In “All’s Fair,” Kardashian’s character navigates the complexities of divorce, encountering clashes with both her husband and his lawyer, portrayed by Paulson. When asked about the support systems necessary during difficult separations, Kardashian emphasized the need for every individual to have support, stating that it is a challenging experience for anyone involved.

Reflecting on her public life and the trials she has faced, Kardashian shared her perspective on personal growth. “I think every person that has done me wrong along the way has played a part in helping me be strong and confident,” she said. She acknowledged both the positive influences in her life and the lessons learned from various experiences.

Kardashian continues to maintain close ties with her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, and remains active in the family’s reality show, “The Kardashians.” Despite the ups and downs, she is grateful for the various career paths that have shaped her journey and remains optimistic about her growth and future endeavors in both acting and law.
