LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 18 Kentucky Wildcats delivered a strong performance on Thursday night, defeating Texas A&M 75-55. Asia Boone and Tonie Morgan led the charge with 19 points each, while Clara Strack contributed a significant double-double, scoring 17 points and securing 13 rebounds.

Boone made an impact with her shooting, going 5-of-11 from the field and sinking four three-pointers, while Morgan facilitated the offense with eight assists. Strack, who continued her impressive trend with her double-double average of 16 points and 10.5 rebounds this season, also showcased her defensive skills with three blocks. She now has 13 double-doubles for the year, which ties her for the 14th-most in the nation.

The Wildcats wasted no time gaining momentum, starting the game with a staggering 16-0 run and concluding the first quarter with a comfortable 27-5 lead. Boone was pivotal during this stretch, contributing eight points, including two three-pointers.

The Wildcats maintained their dominance, leading 38-18 at halftime, and the Aggies could not inch closer than a 17-point deficit in the second half. Texas A&M, now at 10-10 overall and 2-9 in conference play, has faced challenges recently, losing four straight games on the road. Ny’Ceara Pryor was the standout for the Aggies, scoring 21 points and collecting eight rebounds, with Janae Kent and Fatmata Janneh adding 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
