Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley Head to College GameDay Ahead of Vanderbilt–Missouri Showdown

Kenny Chesney will bring his musical charm to ESPN’s College GameDay this Saturday, as the popular college football pregame show is set to broadcast live from Nashville. The event will serve as a lead-up to the highly anticipated matchup between No. 15 Missouri and No. 10 Vanderbilt.

The country music star, who boasts an impressive resume including over 200 major stadium performances and eight Entertainer of the Year Awards, will deliver a special rendition of his chart-topping hit “Get Along.” This performance coincides with Chesney’s celebration of his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2025 and the upcoming release of his album HEART LIFE MUSIC on November 4.

Adding to the excitement, fellow country artist Dierks Bentley—a Vanderbilt alumnus and a multi-time CMA Award winner—will also take the stage, performing his award-winning song “What Was I Thinkin’” along with his recently released track “IYKYK.” Together, Chesney and Bentley are expected to set a vibrant atmosphere ahead of the game.

This weekend’s broadcast marks just the second time Vanderbilt has hosted College GameDay, with the last appearance dating back to 2008. The Commodores have had an outstanding season so far, achieving their best start in 75 years under coach Clark Lea, which has propelled them to their highest AP ranking since 1947. The Missouri Tigers, meanwhile, will be making their seventh all-time appearance on GameDay and their first since the 2014 season.

Hosted by Rece Davis for his 11th season, the show features a dynamic desk lineup including analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, and Nick Saban. College football insider Pete Thamel, betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin, and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims complete the roster for what promises to be an exciting college football Saturday.

With thrilling performances and a noteworthy matchup on the horizon, this weekend’s College GameDay is set to be a memorable event for fans of both music and football.
