Kelly Ripa’s ongoing Halloween saga with neighbors seems far from over as the talk show host prepares for yet another spooky season in 2025. Throughout the years, Ripa has faced complaints from local residents concerning the candy provided during her festive celebrations, which she humorously shared during a recent episode of “Live With Kelly and Mark.”
Reflecting on this year’s Halloween, Ripa recounted an experience where, despite a surge in candy consumption—having to reorder twice—she received a complaint from an adult neighbor regarding the quantity of treats available. During the conversation with her husband, Mark Consuelos, Ripa explained how the woman expressed disappointment about running out of candy before she arrived, around 8:30 PM. Ripa cheekily responded that visitors should plan to come earlier next year if they hope to snag some sweets.
The audience chuckled at Ripa’s anecdote, and Consuelos noted that he wished he had been there to handle the situation himself. Ripa reassured him that her response was composed and light-hearted.
In previous years, Ripa had also voiced her frustrations concerning neighborhood kids who seemed dissatisfied with their treats, recalling a time in 2023 when she decided to put two candy bars in each bag to avoid complaints. Her reflections on Halloween encapsulated a mix of humor and frustration common to many parents trying to navigate the annual event.
Additionally, despite Consuelos not being present to help distribute the candy, the couple celebrated the holiday together on air, dressed in a staggering 67 costumes inspired by various pop culture references, including notable figures and shows. Their extravagant costumes highlighted the playful spirit of the Halloween season.
“Live With Kelly and Mark” continues to draw in audiences every weekday, bringing shared laughs and light-hearted moments that resonate with viewers looking for comfort and connection, especially during festive times.
