NEW YORK – Feb. 2, 2026 – “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” a staple of daytime television for the past seven seasons, is set to conclude following its current season. Kelly Clarkson, the beloved host, has decided to step down from her role, marking the end of an era.

Production for the seventh season will move forward as scheduled, with Clarkson leading the way alongside a selection of special guest hosts that will be announced in due course. New episodes are expected to continue airing through Fall 2026, as the show wraps up its celebrated journey.

Expressing her gratitude, Clarkson remarked, “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ both in Los Angeles and New York. There have been so many amazing moments and shows during these seven seasons. I am forever thankful to have collaborated with the most talented band and crew, the inspiring guests who shared their stories with us, and the fans who have supported our journey. This was not an easy decision, but stepping away from the daily grind feels necessary as I focus more on my family and kids. While this marks my last season as host, I’m excited to continue my music career and may pop up on ‘The Voice’ again.”

Tracie Wilson, Executive Vice President of Syndication Studios, praised Clarkson, acknowledging her warmth and humor that resonated with audiences. “The collaboration has been extraordinary. Kelly’s connection with our fans made them feel recognized and uplifted each day. Thanks to her and the leadership of our showrunner and producer Alex Duda, we’ve built a show that created a significant cultural impact.”

Valari Staab, Chairman of NBCUniversal Local, also commended the show, highlighting its consistency in delivering quality entertainment over its tenure. “The show has enriched our NBC-owned stations’ lineup, and we’re grateful to Kelly and her team for their dedication and hard work.”

The show’s signature segment, “Kellyoke,” has earned acclaim, creating what fans identified as “The Kelly Clarkson Effect,” where reimagined performances resonate deeply with audiences and attract praise from original artists.

The show has not only topped daytime ratings but has also achieved considerable success on digital platforms, garnering over 2 billion annual views and adding millions of social media followers during its final season. Its accolades include 24 Daytime Emmy Awards and several recognitions from prestigious award bodies, testament to the show’s excellence in programming.

“Songs & Stories,” an intriguing segment featuring renowned artists such as Alanis Morissette and Lizzo, has captured the essence of music and storytelling, further establishing the show’s legacy. The successful spin-off during the summer of 2025 showcased exceptional performances, additionally elevating Clarkson and her team’s profile.
