The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s team has dismissed speculation surrounding a supposed breakup contract with pop star Taylor Swift. Reports surfaced online suggesting the existence of documents related to a media plan for the couple in the event of a split, allegedly linked to Full Scope, the public relations agency representing Kelce. However, the authenticity of these documents has not been independently confirmed.
In response to the rumors, Kelce’s representatives labeled the documents as “false and fabricated.” A spokesperson for Full Scope stated, “These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued, or authorized by this agency.” The agency has reportedly engaged legal counsel to pursue action against those responsible for the alleged forgery.
Kelce and Swift began dating in the summer of 2023, with their public debut occurring when Swift attended a Chiefs game on September 24, 2023, to support Kelce. The football player has shared insights into their relationship, noting on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast in June 2024 that he was drawn to Swift’s “self-awareness” and her ability to remain genuine amid fame.
During a recent interview on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Kelce recounted performing with Swift at her “Eras Tour” and referred to her as “Tay Tay.” He humorously mentioned that she is helping him develop game strategies, stating, “She is a little biased and creates plays just for me.”
Swift has attended several Chiefs games, fueling fan anticipation for her appearance at the team’s home game on September 5. She has also made headlines for altering lyrics to her song “Karma” during a concert, referencing “the guy on the Chiefs,” and emphasized the importance of supporting one another during her acceptance speech for Time’s 2023 Person of the Year.
Swift reflected on their relationship, saying, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other.” She also clarified that they had significant private time together before going public, insisting that their first game appearance was not their first date.
