The Road, produced by Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan of Yellowstone fame, will feature a dozen contestants vying to be Urban’s opening act while facing the demanding realities of life on tour. Urban described the competition as unique, promising it would showcase experiences like never before. Gretchen Wilson, known for her hit “Redneck Woman,” will serve as the show’s tour manager, with more country music artists slated to make appearances throughout the series.
At the concert, Urban performed alongside Nashville-based singer and contestant Adam Sanders, where they covered “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” Messina herself responded enthusiastically on social media, expressing her support for Urban and his show.
