Year 10 student Kavya Pillay is set to shine at the Radio Fiji Two / Mirchi FM “Rewa” Diwali Dhoom this Saturday at Damodar City in Labasa. The industrious Labasa Sangam College student, already recognized as a budding kirtan artist, has dedicated himself to an energetic performance aimed at captivating the audience.
“I have lined up a variety of songs for the event, including a popular Tamil hit, so that everyone in the audience can enjoy and feel connected,” Kavya expressed. His enthusiasm for music and gratitude to FBC for allowing him to showcase his talent on such a prominent platform reflect his passion for the arts.
Kavya is inviting families and music enthusiasts across Labasa to join in the festivities for a night filled with entertainment, vibrant colors, and celebration. The Diwali Dhoom will feature various engaging competitions, including Thali and Sweets, Rangoli, poster contests, and Diya decoration, offering community members an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and embody the spirit of Diwali.
