A highly anticipated concert by Katy Perry scheduled for Thursday at Ball Arena in Denver has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the Denver Nuggets’ NBA playoff game. The Nuggets are set to host Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the same night, leading to the rescheduling of Perry’s concert to July 10.

Ticketmaster has confirmed that tickets purchased for the initial concert date will remain valid for the new date. Additionally, attendees who are unable to attend on the rescheduled date can obtain refunds during the designated refund window.

This development comes on the heels of the Nuggets’ recent performance, having faced a setback in Game 4 of their playoff series, resulting in a tie of 2-2. Consequently, the NBA confirmed that a Game 6 would be necessary, ensuring the excitement continues for fans of the team. The game time is yet to be announced.

Perry’s “Lifetimes Tour” was initially announced in January, making her Denver stop a highly anticipated event on her tour.

This situation, while disappointing for some fans, reflects the dynamic nature of sports and entertainment scheduling, highlighting how major events can intertwine and sometimes require adjustments. Fans can look forward to both an exhilarating playoff game and Perry’s concert later in the summer.
