Gamers are in for a treat as Karol G is set to bring her music to the Fortnite Festival season 5, which will take place from August 16 to November 2.
The exclusive playable concert, titled Karol G MSB Fortnite and created by Magnopus, offers a five-part visual experience showcasing the Colombian artist’s life and career. Players will be able to join the concert from 3 p.m. ET on August 23 to midnight on August 26. Featured tracks in the game will include “Oki Doki,” “Provenza (Remix),” “Cairo,” and “QLONA,” featuring Peso Pluma.
Karol G announced the collaboration on her Instagram story on August 14, expressing her excitement for the upcoming event. She wrote, “This is so amazing!!! Something incredible is coming with Fortnite Festival.”
According to an official Fortnite post, this season’s Premium Reward Track, available for 1,800 V-Bucks, will allow fans to unlock Karol G-themed items, which include the Bichota Season Karol G Outfit, the Bichota Mic, and the Bichota 6-String Guitar. Gamers will also have the opportunity to collect EmPower-Ups during the music experience to dispel negative energy and promote positive vibes in a vibrant party atmosphere.
For those eager to experience the Karol G MSB Fortnite concert, Fortnite can be downloaded for free on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android, and PC. It is also accessible via various cloud-based streaming services. Players can find the concert by selecting the appropriate tile in Fortnite’s menu.
Karol G marks the second Colombian artist to collaborate with Fortnite. In 2020, J Balvin was featured in the annual Fortnite “Fortnitemares” event on Halloween, which included new gameplay, challenges, and in-game rewards, culminating in his performance during the “Afterlife Party” in the weapons-free Party Royale mode.
