Kandi Burruss was celebrated with the prestigious Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos, held in Las Vegas. The special recognition took place during the BravoCon Live show taping, which is set to air on Bravo on Sunday, November 16. Burruss, well-known for her time on Real Housewives of Atlanta, received the accolade from former co-star Cynthia Bailey and her daughter, Riley Burruss, who is now part of her own Bravo show.

Reflecting on her journey, Burruss humorously remarked, “I did not have the Wifetime Achievement Award on my 2025 Bingo card, but here we are and I’ll take it.” Looking back on her time on RHOA, she described her initial participation as something she thought would be “cute to do for a little while,” not realizing the deep emotional journey the show would take her on, from laughter and arguments to memorable performances.

Burruss extended her gratitude towards Bravo’s devoted fans, who have remained supportive throughout her 14 seasons on RHOA and beyond. She noted the importance of her fans, affectionately referring to them as her “Kandi-coated click,” emphasizing their continued presence at her Broadway productions, online streams, and various acting endeavors.

Interestingly, Kandi mentioned that her daughter, Riley, is now carrying on the family legacy within the Bravo universe, as she stars in the second season of Next Gen NYC. She proudly acknowledged Riley for taking the torch and infusing new energy into the franchise.

The evening also provided Kandi a moment to thank her family, who have been integral to her Bravo trajectory through numerous spinoffs over the years. With humor, she remarked that her family has delivered “way more drama than they paid for.”

Kandi expressed her appreciation for Andy Cohen, reflecting on their relationship that transcends the reality show format, and she cherished the supportive texts they share. She also acknowledged the women she filmed RHOA with, recognizing the diverse moments they’ve shared—good and bad—that have contributed to creating iconic television.

Concluding her heartfelt speech, Kandi emphasized, “Even though I moved on, I will always cherish my time as a housewife. I will always represent our Bravo family because I’m worldwide.” Her unwavering spirit and deep appreciation for her journey resonated with the audience, marking a heartfelt moment in her ongoing legacy within reality TV.
