Melbourne Storm has announced that they have extended the contract of Fiji Bati captain Tui Kamikamica for an additional season, ensuring the seasoned forward will remain with the club through the 2026 NRL season. This new one-year deal reaffirms Kamikamica’s commitment to the team, where he has made a significant impact since debuting in 2017.

Kamikamica, now Storm player number 181, has participated in 138 games, showcasing his consistency and reliability as a valuable member of Craig Bellamy’s squad. The Fijian international has played over 20 matches in each of the past three seasons and contributed to the team by appearing in 24 matches in 2025. Notably, he has been part of the Storm leadership group for the last two years, indicating his importance not just in performance but also in team dynamics. Since 2023, he has also taken on the role of captain for the Fiji Bati, amassing 23 international caps.

In reflecting on his decision to renew his contract, Kamikamica expressed gratitude and excitement about continuing his journey with Melbourne, highlighting the special place the club holds in his career.
