Kamala Harris to Break Ground with Exclusive Fox News Interview

Fox News announced on Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris will give an interview to its chief political anchor, Bret Baier, on Wednesday, October 16, at 6 p.m. ET.

This marks the first formal interview for the Democratic presidential candidate on the network and will take place in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state. The interview is set to be pre-recorded on Wednesday afternoon and will be aired during the Special Report with Bret Baier, which will be hosted from Philadelphia that day.

Recently, the Harris campaign has increased the vice presidential candidate’s visibility through various media appearances. During the week of October 7, Harris participated in a 60 Minutes interview that aired on Monday night, followed by appearances on ABC News’ The View and CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, and a town hall hosted by Univision, moderated by Enrique Acevedo on Thursday.

In addition, Harris called in to CNN and The Weather Channel on Wednesday as Hurricane Milton was approaching the Florida coast.

Her running mate, Tim Walz, has also been active in the Fox News landscape, appearing on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream for two consecutive weeks. Harris has additional cable news engagements lined up for the closing weeks of the campaign, including a CNN-hosted town hall on October 23 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Former President Donald Trump is also scheduled to take part in a Fox News town hall, which will be moderated by Harris Faulkner on Tuesday, October 15, at 11 a.m. ET during the Faulkner Focus.
