Actor Josh Hartnett was recently hospitalized in Canada following a car accident involving a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) patrol car. The incident occurred while Hartnett was returning from filming an untitled Netflix series. The collision happened at an intersection shortly after 1 a.m. and resulted in significant damage to both vehicles.

Hartnett, who was a passenger in the vehicle along with the 59-year-old driver, was treated for minor injuries at the hospital. The patrol officer involved was also hospitalized as a precaution. The case is currently under investigation by authorities.

Despite the accident, Hartnett has already been released from the hospital and has resumed work on the Netflix series. The show, still shrouded in some secrecy, takes place in Newfoundland and features a storyline centered around a small Canadian town threatened by a mysterious sea creature. Hartnett plays the role of a fisherman determined to defend his community, alongside fellow actors Willow Kean, Ruby Stokes, Rohan Campbell, and Kaleb Horn.

Apart from his professional life, Hartnett resides in the UK with his wife, Tasmin Egerton, and their four children. He has spoken candidly about his family life, sharing humorous insights about being the only American in his household. In recent years, Hartnett has returned to the public eye following a hiatus from Hollywood, focusing on a balanced personal and professional life.

Hartnett’s recent projects include filming “Verity” in New York City with Dakota Johnson, indicating a strong comeback and continued demand for his talents in the industry. Despite the setback of his recent accident, the actor seems to be in good spirits and moving forward with his work commitments.
