The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are set to clash in a thrilling Thursday Night Football showdown, and while the competition heats up, quarterback Josh Allen is taking precautions for an injury. Ahead of the game at Hard Rock Stadium, Allen was seen wearing a white glove and tape on his injured left hand, which is his non-throwing hand.
The injury occurred when Allen landed on his left hand during a touchdown run late in the Bills’ recent 34-28 comeback victory against the Arizona Cardinals. Despite the injury, he was taped up by medical staff and did not miss any plays.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott addressed Allen’s condition, stating, “As you guys are aware, Josh was injured in the fourth quarter there. They looked at his hand, he went back in and functioned, and then he was looked at after the game again, and he’s been cleared to practice today and cleared to play in the game.”
Throughout the week leading up to Thursday, Allen participated fully in practice.
Regarding his throwing hand, it’s important to note that Allen is not left-handed; he throws with his right hand. In the NFL, only two active quarterbacks are left-handed: Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa and Atlanta’s Michael Penix Jr.
