In a heartfelt post on November 15, Jordyn recalled a summer conversation where Karl expressed nostalgia for the truck his mother had during his childhood. “During the summer Karl asked me if I could drive any car for a day which one would it be… I answered and his response was ‘I wouldn’t pick anything crazy, I just really loved my mom’s car she had when I was a kid,’” she wrote, expressing her determination to make his wish come true.
Over the past few months, Jordyn dedicated herself to locating the vehicle, even shipping it across the country and refurbishing it to pristine condition. She successfully surprised Karl with the vehicle on his birthday, creating an emotional connection to his late mother Jackie Cruz-Towns, who passed away in April 2020 from COVID-19.
