Jong Oranje is set to make a return to Stadion De Koel in Venlo, where they will face off against their Belgian counterparts on Monday, March 30. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 PM under the guidance of head coach Michael Reiziger.

The last time Jong Oranje played an international match at Stadion De Koel was on September 9, 2025, during a UEFA European Championship qualifier against Jong Israël. That game ended in a 2-2 draw, but unfortunately, due to safety regulations, fans were not permitted to attend. Exactly one year prior, the Dutch young talents secured their place at the 2025 European Championship by defeating Jong Georgië 3-1 in Venlo.

Currently, Jong Oranje is in the midst of the UEFA Euro qualification cycle. They are competing in Group G alongside Norway, Israel, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as they vie for a ticket to the Euro 2027 tournament. So far, the team has only managed one victory—a 2-0 win over Jong Slovenië. Following the draw against Israel, Jong Oranje faced a challenging match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they failed to score, and they also suffered a 3-1 defeat in the away game against Israel.

Before their match against Jong België, Jong Oranje will resume the qualification campaign with an away fixture against Norway on Friday, March 27. With the stakes high in Scandinavia, Reiziger’s squad cannot afford any further points dropped if they hope to secure a spot in the upcoming European Championship.

As they prepare for these critical matches, the young Dutch talents will be looking to build momentum and restore confidence on the road to potential success.
