The Jonas Brothers have announced a significant change for their upcoming performance, opting to move their concert from Comerica Park to Little Caesars Arena on August 28. The band communicated this decision to their fans in a heartfelt letter, expressing that every choice they make prioritizes the best experience for their audience. They acknowledged the inconvenience that might result from this switch and are dedicated to making this tour their most memorable yet.
For those who had purchased tickets for the Comerica Park show, refunds will be processed automatically. Meanwhile, tickets for the Little Caesars Arena concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Additionally, previous ticket holders will have the opportunity to access presale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
This adjustment reflects a broader trend for the Jonas Brothers as they have been making changes to several of their summer tour dates, shifting from larger stadium venues to more intimate settings. Alongside the Detroit concert, other cities such as Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles will also see their stadium shows relocated to smaller venues, including amphitheaters and arenas.
Despite these venue changes, the group is scheduled to maintain their performances in stadiums, with shows still planned in East Rutherford, New Jersey on August 10 and Boston on August 23. The Comerica Park concert was particularly anticipated as it was to be the group’s largest show in Michigan to date.
The tour, now branded as “Jonas 20: Greetings From Your Hometown,” coincides with the release of their new album, “Greetings From Your Hometown,” set for August 8. This fresh venture marks an exciting period for the band, which indicates their commitment to engaging with fans in dynamic and memorable fashions.
In light of these transitions, fans can look forward to an intimate concert experience at Little Caesars Arena, enhancing the connection between the Jonas Brothers and their audience.
