Siwa had announced on social media her plans for a free holiday concert at the Mall of America, scheduled for Black Friday. She stated, “I am doing a free holiday concert for all ages on Black Friday at the Mall of America, November 28th, at 12 o’clock noon. I’ll see you there, it’s going to be everything!” It appears that her hospital visit occurred just before she was supposed to take the stage.
