John Travolta is set to star in the exciting new thriller “Black Tides,” directed by Renny Harlin, known for classics like “Cliffhanger” and “Die Hard 2.” In this film, Travolta plays Bill Pierce, an estranged father who faces a terrifying challenge as he tries to reconnect with his daughter and grandson during a boat trip off the southern coast of Spain—only to find themselves under attack by rogue orcas.
The screenplay is penned by Chris Sparling, acclaimed for “Buried,” alongside Ángel Agudo who contributed to Prime Video’s “Apocalypse Z.” The film is being produced by Adrián Guerra and Nuria Valls of Nostromo Pictures, who have a history of successful projects, including the hit film “Buried.”
