In late 2025, Joey Logano faced a challenging setback when his pursuit of a fourth NASCAR Cup Series title came to an end during the Round of 8 in the playoffs. Despite this disappointment, the Team Penske driver, who clinched the championship in 2024, is entering the upcoming season with renewed determination and readiness for both the revamped NASCAR title format and an off-track investment.

Logano is taking the adage “win on Sunday, sell on Monday” to heart as he expands his career beyond racing. He recently acquired an ownership stake in Huntersville Ford, a dealership located in North Carolina and part of Krause Auto Group. This new venture will see him collaborating closely with the dealership’s general manager, Stacy Cowan, as reported by Automotive News journalist Adam Stern.

Educating himself about the retail automotive industry over the past year, Logano is keen to make a mark not just on the racetrack but also in business. He has already established connections at the Huntersville dealership, where he has previously borrowed vehicles for marketing campaigns and partnered for charitable giveaways. His goal is to merge his racing ambitions with his new role at the dealership.

“My tool and my resource that I’m able to bring to the table comes from winning on Sundays,” Logano explained. He emphasized a collaborative approach, stating he did not intend to overhaul the dealership’s operations but rather to contribute positively to the existing team culture.

As Logano embarks on this new chapter, he aims to enhance the dealership’s reputation while also leveraging his racing success to bolster sales. Logano highlighted that Huntersville Ford sells around 1,500 to 1,750 new vehicles annually, and he expressed hopes for Ford to introduce more affordable models for consumers. However, he also stressed the importance of maintaining quality, stating, “Our job is making sure that the customers are happy and that they are treated fairly.”

Logano is setting his sights on diverse objectives this year. As fans watch his performance on the racetrack, it will be interesting to see how his ownership journey unfolds and the impact he can make at Huntersville Ford.
