The 2025 edition of Joe Walsh’s VetsAid concert is set to take place on Saturday, November 15, at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, following the cancellation of the 2024 event due to “reasons beyond the organizers’ control.” This annual benefit concert, which aims to support veterans’ charities, will feature a star-studded lineup including Vince Gill, Ryan Bingham, The Texas Gentlemen, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, and Nathaniel Rateliff, with more artists to be announced soon.
Walsh, the Eagles guitarist and a key figure behind VetsAid, expressed his heartfelt connection to Wichita during an August 1 press conference announcing the show. He shared stories about his family ties to the city and his motivation to sustain the concert series, which has raised over $4 million for veterans’ services since its inception nearly a decade ago. He stated, “It’s been a long-term goal of mine… to bring it all home to my native Wichita to serve Kansan veterans and their families.”
Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase starting August 8, with a pre-sale beginning on August 5. All net proceeds from VetsAid 2025 will be allocated to charities assisting veterans, particularly those based in Kansas. Organizations interested in receiving funding can apply through VetsAid’s website.
In addition to VetsAid, Walsh will also participate in upcoming Eagles residency performances in Las Vegas this fall, showcasing his commitment to both his music career and philanthropic efforts.
This year’s event promises to be a significant homecoming for Walsh and the Kansas community, as they come together to celebrate and support those who have served in the military.
