Joe Walsh is set to host his ninth annual VetsAid concert in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, offering an exciting opportunity for fans unable to attend in person to experience the event from home through a live stream at Veeps.com. The concert is scheduled for November 15 at the INTRUST Bank Arena.
This year’s VetsAid lineup promises a series of engaging performances, featuring Eagles’ touring member Vince Gill, Ryan Bingham, and The Texas Gentlemen. Additionally, Walsh will deliver a special “super-set” alongside renowned musicians Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, as well as Nathaniel Rateliff and other surprise guests.
Walsh expressed his heartfelt connection to Wichita in a statement on his website, emphasizing the significance of the event being held in his native city. “It’s been a long-term goal of mine since we began VetsAid nearly ten years ago to bring it all home to my native Wichita to serve Kansan veterans and their families,” he said. “Wichita is the place to be this November 15th!”
All proceeds from the concert will directly benefit veterans’ charities, with this year’s grants supporting organizations such as the Wichita Police and Fire Foundation, Rosie’s Snuggle Bunnies Pet Therapy, Horses & Heroes, Inc., as well as the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation and Hire Heroes USA. This initiative underscores a continuing commitment to support and uplift the veteran community, making the concert an important event for both participants and beneficiaries alike.
