Podcaster Joe Rogan expressed admiration for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and criticized both Democrats and Republicans during a recent episode of his show.
Rogan, who has a significant following on social media, accused the two major parties of misleading the public. He stated, “That’s just what they do. That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right. They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”
He expressed his appreciation for Kennedy, describing him as the only candidate who makes sense to him. Rogan remarked, “He’s the only one – he doesn’t attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent… He’s a legitimate guy.”
Following speculation about a potential endorsement of Kennedy, Rogan clarified his stance on X, stating, “For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world.”
In his response, Kennedy thanked Rogan for the kind words, stating, “From one ‘legitimate’ guy to another, thank you @JoeRogan for always putting substance first.” He emphasized that the upcoming election is not merely about political sides, but about uniting Americans against corruption.
Former President Donald Trump reacted to Rogan’s remarks, expressing his views on Truth Social by suggesting there could be backlash for Rogan at future UFC events.
