According to the New York-New Jersey Port Authority, Frontier Airlines Flight 3546, arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, landed safely at JFK. The plane briefly halted on the runway but was deemed to have cleared the incident without any complications.
A Frontier spokesperson indicated that the captain declared an emergency as a precautionary measure related to a mechanical issue encountered during the aircraft’s approach to the airport. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among passengers or crew members.
